Sarantsetseg, a teacher living in Khanbogd, was enthusiastic about what she learnt during the Development Solutions training. Learned new things – “I enjoyed working on our group’s social business model canvas,” she said, “and the NGO training was new, helpful and important.” While living in Ulaanbaatar, Sarantsetseg attended many trainings in business development, and she has been running a successful printing business for many years. She heard about the Development Solutions NGO training after receiving a call from Citizens Hall NGO, with which she has previously worked in Ulaanbaatar. Sarantsetseg wants to establish an organisation that focuses on personal development in the local community through training workshops and the dissemination of information. Her next step will be to form a board of directors, drawing from passionate members of the local community, as well as likeminded people from other towns and experts from universities that she has worked with on previous occasions. They will then focus on finding investors. “Attending this training has helped me to prioritise the importance of personal development and building skills in this community,” Sarantsetseg concludes.
